Is VIDADOR free and open source?
Yes. VIDADOR is free and open source, distributed as an independent Android alpha release through GitHub.
How is my health data stored?
Every metric lives locally inside Hive database storage on your device. There is no cloud sync, analytics layer, or remote backup.
Why is it an APK?
The alpha release is distributed directly through GitHub Releases so the app can stay independent of app-store engagement systems.
Does VIDADOR need internet?
No. The app is designed to work completely offline. An internet connection is only needed to download the release.
What does zero telemetry mean?
VIDADOR does not send usage events, health metrics, advertising identifiers, or background analytics to a remote service.
